"I usually work from my photographs. I'm not a great photographer, so I take lots! That way, there is bound to be one or two good pictures! When I need inspiration, I will look through my photos. There is so much to inspire, so much beauty around us! I feel so privileged to live where I live. In my art, I try to convey the emotion of the subject and the beauty of nature with light, shadow and bold colours."
